Int. Sakae Sushi At Orchard Road - Saturday Evening

The Ch0s3n 0nes & Dominic meet up for a shopping spree in HMV. The scene changes from them shopping in OP, to New Urban Male, to many different other shops. They finally settle in Sakae Sushi Japanese Restaurant for their dinner.

Summer : It's been such a long since I go shopping !!

Sky : Ya .. with all the demon attacks we faced, it's been a while since we have a normal day. Let the word " Normal" be our goal today.

Kuri : Ya, especially during the March holiday, we didn't even had a day of rest. That whole week is full of demon attacks. From stealing the book to killing us of our powers, we faced a total of like what ? 10 evil ?

Dominic : Ok enough of this demon talk. We are here for a normal day out. Keep talking about demons and magick and we will not attain the goal of being "Normal".

Sky : True .. so .. let's order !!

The 4 of them take a menu each and begin to order. The screen zoomed out, which make us unable to hear what they ordered. After their meals, they spilt up as Summer and Dominic wants to continue shopping but Sky is tired and Kuri has a dinner to attend tomorrow evening so Sky and Kuri left while Summer and Dominic stay in Orchard Road.

Int. MRT

Kuri & Sky took a MRT train home. On the way home, their face showed signs of fatigue from all the demon fighting and school.

Kuri : So .. Reon is finally opening up to you ??

Sky : Well .. kinda. He still don't speak much to me but at least if he needs help, he came to me.

Kuri : Well, at least some progress is made. So you know anything about him ??

Sky : Not much but the fact that he is alone, be it inside or outside. It's like .. he sealed himself up. Kinda hard to break though ..

Kuri : Well, try harder. At least you succeeded.

Sky : True ..

Kuri : So any news on you and the Sirius guy ?

Sky : We went out .. once .. and that's it. He called when he reached home but after that, no more phone calls.

Kuri : Hmmz .. Did you try looking for him ??

Sky : Yes .. I called a few times but he didn't answer. So I don't know, maybe we just cross by each other as friends. So .. what's the occasion of the dinner tomorrow night ??

Kuri : Well, my relative is getting married and I'm kinda closed to that relative so I'm actually the bridesmaid for her.

Sky : Oh ~ Good for you. Been able to be the bridesmaid of someone closed to you.

Kuri : So I actually have to wake up early tomorrow to prepare for the ceremony that will last the entire day.

Sky : Well it's my stop. So I see you on Monday ??

Kuri : Ok .. see ya. And don't give up.

Sky : Thanks ..

Sky left as Kuri continue the journey till she reached the next stop : Chinese Garden.

Int. Ballroom - Sunday Evening

Kuri is dressed in a pearly-white gown and is sitting on the receptionist table. Then the man who was shot came across the hall and keep asking everybody whether they can see him but no one answer him. Kuri noticed him but she ignored him, not knowing that he is dead. The man came to the receptionist table and starting talking to Kuri and her other cousin.

Man : Hey ? Can you see me ?

Kuri : Of course we can see you !! What are you, drunk ? Go away, we are having a wedding here.

Man : No you don't understand ..

Kuri : Stop disturbing us ..

Man : No .. It's important ..

Kuri : Well, either you must be drunk or you are crazy. (looking at the upcoming guests) Can you believe this guy ?

The guests all look at Kuri, thinking she was mad.

Man : Please listen ..

Kuri (to her cousin) : Excuse me while I chase this guy away. (To the man) You !! Follow me.

Kuri and the man walk down the hallway and into the lift.

Cousin (to guests) : Sorry .. I think she is a bit exhausted today. She must be seeing thing ..

Ext Grand Hyatt Hotel

The man keep convincing Kuri that he is a ghost but Kuri doesn't buy it. They reached the first level and Kuri lead the man out of the hotel.

Kuri : Please go ..

Man (walking towards the road) : Wait .. Just hear me out ..

Kuri : Hear what ? That you are drunk ? I heard that perfectly. Now go away !! (Saw an upcoming truck driving towards the man) HEY WATCH OUT !!

The truck drive through the man, and the man just stand there, pretending nothing had happened ..

Man : This is what I've been trying to tell you.

Kuri : Oh my god ..

End Of Act 1

Int. Secret Room - Monday Morning

Kuri is already in the room, talking with the Dead man. Just then, Summer, Dominic and Sky come down from the stairs.

Sky : So what's the big emergency you mentioned in your text message this morning that requires all of us to come here in the early morning ?? (Notice The Dead Man) KURI !! Who is this man and what's is he doing here ?!?

Summer : Ya !! You meet him in the wedding and what, you decide to tell him our secret ?!?

Kuri : Guys Chilled !! This is Mitch. And secondly, he is our innocent.

Summer : Oh .. I'm so sorry. I guess I'm a little scared that our secret is out.

Sky : Ya me too. (Acting Cute) Sorry !! Anyway .. Did something happened in the dinner yesterday ?

Kuri : Actually no, nothing happen. It's just Mitch came out of nowhere and start pestering everybody. But no one answer him.

Summer : What is him ? A ghost ?? Hahahaz ..

Kuri : That's another thing I'm going to tell you guys. He's dead.

Sky & Summer : What ?!

Dominic : Guys ... What the hell are you 3 talking about ? And where is this Mitch guy ??

Summer : You can't see him ?

Dominic : See what ? That's no one here beside the 4 of us.

Sky : I guess Mortal can't see ghosts. Anyway what happened ??

Kuri : Well, I was at the receptionist desk helping my cousin with the massive guests that appeared at the same time. While helping out, Mitch is making a din in the hallway, apparently which only I can hear. I tries to chase him away from the ballroom by leading him out of the hotel. He is standing in the middle of the road when a truck drive towards him, which drive THROUGH him. When I go back to the ballroom, everybody keep asking me whether I'm ok and needed a rest. They must have thought I have gone crazy.

Summer : Interesting .. And you, Mitch ??

Mitch : Well, I was going out to work last Friday when I sensed that someone is following me. So I turned and hid in a rattan basket in an alley. True enough, a bunch of people had followed me into it and was blocked by a dead end. I saw that they are distracted and took this chance to slip off. But they got me and killed me.

Sky : But aren't you supposed to be in the netherworld right now ??

Mitch : Correct. But I died. And I don't know why so I wanted to check it out but just by me is not enough. You don't know how far I've gone from Geyland to Orchard and how many people I've asked. Thank god I met you guys.

Dominc : Ok this is very weird, seeing you guys talking to air. I'm going to the Hall first. See you guys there.

Dominic give Summer a peck on her forehead before leaving.

Kuri : So we have to help him. Find out the reason why he is killed and help to solve the murder.

Summer : Won't that leads to interacting with Inspector Jim ??

Kuri : We kinda have no choice. Hope we can shun him as much as possible.

Sky : How? He sound suspicious of us when we ask him of the help of the checking of Reon and Mr Zan's background.

Summer : Speaking of which, it's long over due. It's about to be May. Where is the report ??

Sky : I don't know. But let's settle the things at hand first.

Mitch : Right. I don't have much time either.

Summer :What do you mean ?

Mitch : The chinese myth says that the guards will come and take the Spirit away immediately after his death.

Kuri : Guards ??

Sky : They kinda like Police Inspectors. One in black suit and another in white, called Hei Bai Wu Chang . They will come and take the spirit away once he has finished. But how did you managed to escape from them ? I mean it's 2 days since you died.

Mitch : I plea them to give me some more time. Plus I'm not ready to go yet. Once I settled this thing, I will follow them to whatever they bring me to.

Summer : To where exactly ??

Mitch : Netherworld of course.

(Bell Rang)

Sky : We've got to go. We will settle this later.

Kuri : Guys .. you 2 go. I will stay and help him.

Summer : You sure you can handle it ??

Kuri : I don't know but I've got to. He's my innocent. So I will try no matter what.

Sky : He's OUR innocent. Ok. Be careful. Anything just call us.

Kuri : Thanks guys.

Summer and Sky left the room and proceed back to class.

Kuri : So what should we do first ?

Mitch : I think you should tell my mum that the body found is me.

Kuri : You think she knows ?

Mitch : Well, she watch the news everyday and while I was in the lobby of another hotel, I saw the news reporting about my body but the identity was not confirm. So she should roughly guessed it right by now.

Kuri : Ok. Let's go. Lead me there.

Kuri and Mitch left the room.

Int. Geyland - Late Morning

Mitch is leading Kuri to where he lived but on the way, he keep talking to Kuri, which Kuri tries not to answer.

Mitch : You know, you are kinda quiet today.

Kuri (whisper) : That's because I don't want people to think that I'm crazy and keep talking to myself.

Mitch (realised) : OH !! Sorry. I forgot that I am erm .. dead.

Kuri (whisper): Take it easy ok ? So how long more till we reach your house ??

They both reached the building and and Mitch tell Kuri which floor he lived in.

Mitch : So I wait for you up there.

With there, he disapper.

Kuri went into the lift and pressed the floor which Mitch said. Suddenly, an old man dressed in singlet and short pants went into the lift just when the door is about to closed.

Uncle : 12th floor. Thank you.

Kuri pressed the button and pretend to ignore the uncle. The old uncle keep looking at Kuri and lick his lips. Kuri tries not to look at the disgusting uncle.

Uncle : So you are new here ? I did not see you around here before.

Kuri : I'm looking for a friend.

Uncle : Oh .. So you want to have some fun with me before you go and find your friend ?

Kuri : What ?

Uncle (proceeding towards Kuri) : Come, Let uncle teach a young girl like you something ..

Just when he is about to touch Kuri, the door opened at the 7th floor, not the floor Mitch told Kuri about. In a state of panic, Kuri telekinated the uncle out of the lift and down the stairs that is facing the lift by squirting her eyes. The uncle land on the stairs and become unconscious. Then Kuri quickly pressed the "Closed" button. When the door closed, she heaved a sigh of relieved. When she reached the floor, she saw Mitch standing and waiting for her.

Mitch : What took you so long ??

Kuri : Well for your information, I nearly got violated by an old man. Thank god I "kicked" him out of the lift when the door opened at the 7th floor.

Mitch : Sorry. Are you alright ?

Kuri nodded, still abit shaken by what happened.

Mitch : Sorry. Well this kind of thing happened often here, especailly when we are now in Geylang.

Kuri : Geez, could you not tell me that on the way here ?

Mitch : Sorry ..

Kuri : So which unit did you lived ??

Mitch : Come, I show you.

Mitch leads Kuri to a few unit down from the left till they reached an apartment. The apartment units show "#11-636". Kuri knocked on the door and a woman, not more than 50 years old, opened the door.

Mitch (tears in his eyes) : Mum ..

Kuri (Looking at Mitch, then look back at his mum) : Hi auntie, I'm a friend of Mitch. I need to tell you something.

Mitch's Mom : Oh .. come on in.

Int. Mitch's House

Kuri entered the house and sees that the place is very tidy and clean.

Mitch's Mum : So is Mitch ok ?? He is missing like 2 days and he didn't give me a call.

Kuri : Wait a minute, you don't know ? (Whisper to Mitch) I thought you said she knew.

Mitch : Roughly .. I said Roughly ..

Kuri : Well, erm .. Mitch's a .. erm .. Dead ..

Mitch's Mom (tremebling) : WHAT ?! When ? Where ? How ..

Kuri (to his Mum) : Erm .. the news .. You didn't see that ?

Mitch's Mum (crying) : Well, I .. I was at a relative house playing mahjong the last few days and didn't really watch any TV .. How did he died ?

Kuri : I don't know.

Mitch's Mum : I told him not to do this for his boss but he wouldn't listen ..

Kuri : Do what ?

Just then, a knock was heard on the door.

Kuri (look at the door) : Inspector Jim ..

[Screen Blacked Out]

Int. Mitch's House - Noon

Inspector Jim and his new partner, Inspector Derick, comes into the house and was shocked to see Kuri there.

Jim : Miss Kuri, surprised to see you here.

Kuri : Mitch is my friend, so I came to inform his mum about his death.

Jim : Funny. So am I. How do you know about his death ??

Kuri : The news.

Jim : I see. Why didn't you come and identified the body if you know that it's Mitch ??

Kuri : I wanted to inform Auntie first before going together to identified the body. (To Mitch's Mum) Auntie, I will call you later so as to go and identified the body. Bye. (To Jim) Bye Inspector.

Jim nodded. Kuri proceeded out and take the lift.

Int. Lift

Kuri : Is there something you didn't tell us ?

Mitch : Like what ??

Kuri : Well I don't know, like what your mum meant when she say she told you not to help your boss. What did you help your boss with ??

Mitch : Well .. Erm ..

Kuri : Stop wasting my time. You know you don't have much time either.

Mitch : Fine. I help my boss to launder money.

Kuri : To who ??

Mitch : Don't know. By the way, I had a big envelope with me when I died. I saw the person who shot me took it away.

Kuri : What's in the envelope ?

Mitch : Don't know. My boss told me not to open it. Just deliver to the person in charge and all will be done.

Kuri : Let's go back to the Chapel. We will think of what we going to do later.

Int. Secret Room - Afternoon

Sky and Summer had finished school and had come back here.

Sky : So where is Dominic ??

Summer : He got CCA. How about Reon ??

Sky : Home ... I think. He rush out of the class when class dismissed. I figured something must be on for him so I didn't stop him to ask.

(Just then, Sky's phone rang ..)

Sky : Hello ?

Voice : Hey, it's Sirius ..

Sky : Oh Hi .. you finally called.

Sirius (phone) : Sorry, I was kinda busy these few weeks.

Sky : Oh .. What are you busy with ??

Sirius (phone) : Well, my boss had me going to some other places for repairment.

Sky : Oh I see .. But can't you even call me just for a few minutes ??

Sirius (phone) : Well, I've been working non-stop these past weeks and when I reached home, I was too tired and head striaght to the bed. Sorry ..

Sky : sigh .. It's ok ..

Sirius (phone) : Tell you what. I will bring you out for dinner again this Saturday as a form of apology. Can you forgive me ??

Sky : Hahahaz .. Fine. But no next time.

Sirius (phone) : Yes Sir !! Hahahaz .. Well I've got to go ..

Sky : Ok. Bye ..

Sirius (phone) : Remember this Saturday. Bye ..

Both hung up. Sky look at his phone and smile to himself. When he resumed his focus, he realised the Summer is looking at him, weirdly.

Sky : What ?

Summer : That's Sirius, isn't it ?

Sky : Ya ..

Summer : He finally called you ehhz ??

Sky : Ya .. He explained that he was too busy these few weeks to even call me. But he want to apologise by bringing me out for dinner again.

Summer : Hmmz .. So when are you bringing us to see him ??

Sky : What do you mean ??

Summer : Well, you 2 have met my love. So I think I should I also meet yours.

Sky : He's not my love. We are just friends. Besides, we are guys !!

Summer : Really ? But you sure didn't portray it that way ..

Sky : Whatever ..

The 2 of them chuckle and continue chit chatting. After a while, Kuri and Mitch came down from the stairs ..

Kuri : We have something to do now ..

End Of Act 2

Int. Secret Room - Monday Late Noon

The Ch0s3n 0nes and Mitch are sitting round the table ..

Kuri : Tell them what you told me just now.

Mitch : Ok. I worked in a big organisation down at Eunos a few months ago. I was just a small accountant when I was summoned into the CEO office. When I got in, he said he had an assignment for me and if I done well, I will be promoted to Manager. He asked me to launder some money to some drug syndicate which I did so. When the deal was done, he did what he promised me and promote me straight away. I thought it was the end of it but no, he kept asking me to do so and I did, for fear of losing my job. But something happened during the conference they had last week. From what I heard, it had something to do with the drugs not delivered over so my boss wouldn't hand over the money. The next day, which is last friday, he passed me an envelope and told me not to open up and see, and told me to passed to this person called Boss Kim. Before I could do so, I was killed.

Sky : So you know whether where this Boss Kim might be ?

Mitch : No. We arranged to meet in some place.

Summer : So right now, we have to find him and hopefully, tell us what really happened.

Sky : I will start scrying for him.

Summer : I will write a tracking spell to enhance the scrying.

Kuri : I will take a rest. I'm beat from all these travelling today.

The 3 separate to do what they mentioned just now. After resting for a while, Kuri look at Mitch, who is trying to hold a cup on the table but his hands just went through it.

Kuri : What are you doing ?

Mitch : I'm trying to hold the cup. I always take for granted about touching and now when I can't touch, I start to miss it already. Why me ? Why must this happened to me ..

Kuri : Hey, it already happened so right now, we are trying to finish your unfinished business and let you move on. You know you can't stay here forever right ?

Mitch : I know. You know something ?? Since I met you on Saturday night, I think .. I might have take a liking on you.

Kuri : Really ? You sure hid it real well. Hahahaz ..

Mitch : Ya .. I feel like touching your face but I can't ..

Mitch focus hard and his hand go through Kuri a few times before touching Kuri's face. Kuri is shocked about what she feel but she closed her eyes to feel the touch. Mitch kiss Kuri but all Kuri could felt is a cold feeling on her lips. After a while, Mitch lift his lips off Kuri's ..

Sky : Wow .. a love between Human and Ghost .. How rare is that ?

Summer : Don't know. Just feel kinda late though .. If they have met sooner ..

Kuri and Mitch looked at Sky and Summer who is smiling at them and blushed.

Summer : I have the spell. Let's do this ..

Int. Building - Evening

A smoke occurs in the frontdesk and when it dissipate, shows the Ch0s3n 0nes ..

Summer : Hello ?? Anyone here ?

Sky : I don't think so. Let's go in straight into the office.

Int Boss Kim's Office

Upon opening the door, they saw that Boss Kim is dead, shot many times. The office wall is splattered with blood. The Ch0s3n 0nes covered their eyes to prevent seeing such scene.

Kuri : Oh god ..

Then Sky walked over to the body and found that Boss Kim is holding on to a piece of paper with an address in it.

Sky : Paya Lebar Street ? Not far from here. Let's go.

Summer : Wait !! Aren't you worried what we will be facing there ?

Sky : Criminals ? We sure aren't facing any demons.

Kuri : But they have Guns .. Lots and lots of guns !!

Sky : And we have powers so is magick against human. Let's go ..

Sky walk over to Summer and Kuri side and dropped the teleportation potion on the ground ..

Int. Secret Room

The Ch0s3n 0nes are back at the Chapel while Mitch is wating for them.

Sky : Why are we back here ?

Summer : Because I think of this place. Sorry but I'm not ready to risk our life like that without a plan.

Sky : You're right. I'm sorry ..

Mitch : What happened ??

Kuri : Sorry, we are too late. Boss Kim is dead.

Mitch : What ? How ??

Sky : He was shot to death. Many times ..

Mitch : So what now ??

Kuri : I think we need to go to the address stated but we need to be prepared.

Sky : We have powers, they have guns. I think we know who the winners are now ..

Kuri : But still, we need to be prepared.

Summer : I've got a plan. Let's stock up. We'll go right now.

Int. Building In Paya Lebar

A smoke occurs and the Ch0s3n 0nes appeared among the smoke.

Sky (whisper) : So the plan is ??

Summer (whisper) : Again I say .. When we get in, we throw the stun potion at anyone we see while Sky, you project a forcefield up. Ok with that ?

Kuri (whisper) : Let's do this.

Summer opened the door while Sky project a forcefield up. Upon going in, no one is there. Sky's forcefield come down and the 3 of them inspect the place ..

Sky : No one ? How could this be ?

Voice : Not no one. Behind you ..

The Ch0s3n 0nes turned and saw around 5-10 people surrounding them, pointing their guns towards them. The boss signal his men and they knocked the Ch0s3n 0nes unconscious.

Men 1 : Boss, what do we do with them ??

Boss : Bring them into the room and tied them up.

Just when the men are going towards the Ch0s3n 0nes, swirling white orbs materialised and a human shape appeared. The shape began to take a appearance and the person's face is seen. It's Sirius ..

Boss : What the ?! What are you ??

Sirius : Sorry but you can't have them ..

Holding onto them, Sirius begin to materialise into the small orbs and disppeared.

Boss : What the hell are they ?!?

Int. Secret Room

The white orbs seen earlier began to take form of Sirius and the unconscious Ch0s3n 0nes. Mitch got shocked by what he saw ..

Mitch :Who are you and what happened to the 3 of them ?

Sirius : Wait for them to wake up but don't tell them about me. Thanks ..

Sirius disappeared into swirling white orbs once more. After a while, the Ch0s3n 0nes began to wake up.

Sky : Aww .. what happened ?

Summer (rubbing her head) : I remembered .. we got knocked out .. but .. how did we get back here ??

Kuri : Mitch .. did you see who save us ?

Mitch : Er .. Nope ..

Summer (trying to focus) : Whoever that saves us .. erm .. they had to wait .. right now we got something important to do. They must be waiting for us now ..

Mitch : Guys .. I may have a plan ..

The Ch0s3n 0nes look at him ..

Int. Building In Paya Lebar - Night

A smoke appeared once again and the Ch0s3n 0nes is seen. They open the door this time and saw the Boss and his men, waiting for them.

Boss : Well well .. Seems like you guys are back.

Sky : We don't run away from a fight.

Boss : Good to hear that. Men !! Tie them up.

Men : Yes !!

The men grabs the Ch0s3n 0nes and put their hands behind. They pulled them to a room and used a rope each to tie each of them up onto the chair.

Boss : So, you kids doesn't want to study and now you want to poke into the affairs of the adult world ? You don't know what situation you land yourself into now.

Sky : Who are you ? And why do you kill that 2 man ?

Boss : Well, it's none of your business. On the account that you are kids, I will let you go. But if you come poking into our business again, I will kill you 3.

Kuri : Not going to happen. Tell us why you kill the 2 man.

Boss : Seems like I'm going to kill you anyway. Alright, I'll tell you. The young one, is a messenger for the Boss of the Cargo company, Xsim. I killed him because he is on his way to the give the information of my crime to Boss Kim. Which leads me to killing of Boss Kim.

Summer : Why ?

Boss : Why ? He is giving the information to the police, that's why. Only crime of mine and not his. I can't let him do that so I killed him. For your information, this is how the world of adult world works but I guess you 3 wouldn't live that long to be an adult.

Just when the Boss took a gun and wanted to shoot them, police came rushing in, pinning down all the people in the room. Inspector Jim and his partner, Derick, walk towards and began to untie the Ch0s3n 0ne.

Jim : Bring them all back.

Police : Yes Sir !!

The Ch0s3n 0nes are now untie and thank the 2 Inspector. Inspector Jim stopped them as they are trying to leave ..

Jim : So why are you guys connected to this again ?

Kuri : We are abducted. That's why.

Jim : You're lucky. We recived an anonymous call and found this place. I have been tracking down this syndicate for a long time and thanks to you three, I finally can bring them to justice.

Kuri : Don't thank us, thank Mitch.

Jim : What ?

Summer : Nothing. We've got to go. Bye ..

The Ch0s3n 0nes left the building and went to the alley. They dropped the teleportation potion on their feet and teleport themselves.

Int. Secret Room

A smoke appear and the Ch0s3n 0nes is seen. The 3 of them saw that Mitch is ready to go now, with the Black and White guardson each side of him.

Sky : You ready to go now ??

Mitch : Thanks to you guys, I've finished my last wish. Thank you.

Summer : You are welcome.

Kuri walk towards Mitch and tries to hold his hand, but her hand go right through it. Kuri's tear dropped down.

Kuri : I'll miss you.

Mitch : I will too. For your information, I really like you.

Kuri cry even more as Mitch tries to wipe off her tear.

White Guard : We have to go.

Black Guard : Good bye, Ch0s3n 0nes.

Sky : Wait, you know us ?

White Guard : Of course, you are all quite well-known. But be careful, a power is rising and their goal is to kill you and get the book.

Summer : The Ministry, we know.

Black Guard : Be careful. Spirit, Let's go.

Mitch : Bye Kuri, I love you.

Kuri (crying) : I love you too.

The Guards and Mitch become transparent and disappeared. Kuri squat down and cry as Summer and Sky went over to console her.

Int. Classroom - Tuesday Noon

Miss Nurah is settling some matters with the class ..

Miss Nurah : Ok class, Exams is round the corner and I really hope you guys will study hard for now. The schdule is given out so please prioritise your studies according to it. Nothing else so the class is dismissed.

The class is noisy and the Ch0s3n 0nes are packing...

Summer : So you alright ?

Kuri (from loud to soft) : Ya .. To think I will fall in love with a ghost. How weird is that ..

Sky : Hey, don't worry. I'm sure you will find someone like him in the future.

Kuri : Hope so ..

Summer : Hey .. ever wondered who saved us last night ?

Sky : Ya .. but .. Mitch said he didn't see any ...

Kuri : Hmmz .. I want to find that person and thank him or her so many times till he gets pissed off. If not for that person, we might be dead now ..

Sky : Ya .. Well, I believe he will show up soon. I think he is just like our guardian angel.
