Int. Singapore - Wednesday 2nd Janunary 2002, Morning

The screen lights up with the view of Singapore, showing in fast motion as the locals are walking in the busy street of Raffles, then the scene transit to students of all ages, taking bus to school. The scene finally stop at the exterior of Yuan Ching Secondary School, where students are seen walking alone or with friends, catching up ..

Int. School - Assembly Hall

It's the start of a new year and the hall is seen packed with people, noisily. We can see familiar and new faces as the screen scanned across the hall. After a while, Miss Selene walk up to the stage and instructed everyone to stand up, preparing to sing the national anthem. After the national anthem, she settle everyone down as she makes a speech ..

Miss Selene : Welcome back, students and to the new ones, a warm welcome to Yuan Ching. It's a brand new year so I hope the new students can make yourself comfortable and feel belonged here. For the old students, let's work hard again and strive for a better results, ok ?

School : Yes ..

Miss Selene : Ok. Here are some of the announcements for the start of this year ..

The screen zoomed to the Ch0s3n 0nes' class and to the Ch0s3n 0nes, Dominic and Reon, who are having a conversation on their own ..

Sky : I say we just go for a dinner and settle it.

Summer : But it's our first anniversary as .. beings. You really want to just settle it so easily ?

Reon : How about a little buffet in the chapel ? I think it will be fun.

Dominic : Hmmz .. we can go and buy some food from Old Chang Kee.

Summer : That sounds great. Kuri, what do you think ?

Kuri : I told you, I'm not really in the mood to celebrate anything. Count me out.

Sky : But .. it's the anniversary for the 3 of us !! Without any of us, this celebration is pointless.

Kuri : I just ..

Reon : Kuri, just come and relax ,ok ?

Kuri look at the 4 of them, and reluctantly agree.

Summer : Cool .. So we will go after school and start preparing.

The rest nodded and turn their head back to the stage.

Miss Selene : Finally, there's a IT club meeting at 2p.m today. All members are to attend. That's it. Classes, you may go ..

As another teacher take over and dismiss class by class, the 5 of them gathered together again ..

Summer : Great, there's a meeting but we're not informed.

Sky : How are we supposed to buy the food now ??

Dominic : Reon and I can go and buy the food. Then we will set everything up and when you guys return, we can start the party.

Summer : Ok. Thanks honey ..

Dominic put a hand across Summer's shoulder and give it a light squeeze. Their class stand up and prepares to leave ..

Voice (soft and smoothly) : Power Of 0ne ..

Summer : What ?

The 4 of them turn back, puzzled ..

Kuri : What ?

Summer : You guys heard that ?

Sky : Hear what ?

Voice (soft and smoothly) : Power Of 0ne ..

Summer : That !!

Dominic : That's nothing ..

Summer : That's weird .. It sounded just like .. like Noah ..

Sky : Really ? Maybe you heard wrongly ..

Summer : Maybe ..

Summer clear her head before joining back the class who was a few steps away in front of her.

Int. I.T Club - Afternoon

The Ch0s3n 0nes are seen sitting down, chatting with 3 of their seniors : Marcus, Gabriel and Howie.

Marcus : Hey, let's go for a movie this Saturday, shall we ??

Summer : What movie do you want to watch ?

Marcus : Hmmz .. Lord Of The Ring ? The review is quite good.

Sky : Well, I need to see about that. Don't know if there are "anything" that may happen suddenly.

Summer : Oh .. me too.

Gabriel : What about you, Kuri ?

Kuri : I er .. I don't think I'm going.

Howie : But ..

Just then, Mr Mack comes into the room and began the meeting ..

Mr Mack : As you guys know, the chairman and vice-chairman are going to graduate this year. So, we have come out with a few candidates that are suggested by seniors and teachers-in-charge. After voting, our chairman will be .. Zick and our vice will be .. Summer ..

Sky : You got the post.

Summer : Cool. I will give the best I can to ..

Voice (soft and smoothly) : Power Of 0ne ..

Summer stop upon hearing the voice again. She look around and stare back at Kuri and Sky.

Kuri : What ?

Summer : I heard that phrase again ..

Sky : Really ? How come only you can hear it but we don't ?

Summer : Don't know ..

Kuri : What does it say ?

Summer : Power of 0ne.

Howie : Power of 0ne ?

Summer : Er .. Nothing. I guess I'm too tired, having to wake up after 2 months of late-sleeping ..

The 3 seniors nodded as Summer sit down slowly. She look back at Kuri and Sky, who all shared the same confused look ..

End Of Act 1

Int. Jurong Point - Wednesday Afternoon

Reon and Dominic are seen queuing up at the Old Chang Kee stall. Finally, it's their turn. They ordered lots of food and Dominic pay the money and both of them left the stall.

Reon : Do we need drinks ?

Dominic : Of course. You never been to a party before ?

Reon : Honestly, no. This is kinda my first time.

Dominic : OH .. Then in that case, we need drinks. Lots of drinks. Let's go to the value shop and buy some ..

Reon and Dominic went into the mall and to the value shop.

Int. School - Evening

After the meeting, the Ch0s3n 0nes are seen on their way back to the chapel ..

Sky : Still hearing the voice ?

Summer : No ..

Kuri : How long have you been hearing the voice ?

Summer : Only today but it kept repeating the phrase "Power Of 0ne" .. I don't know what that means ..

Kuri : That got to mean something. Otherwise it will not keep repeating itself.

Summer : Well, that will be tomorrow's problem. Right now, it's party time.

Kuri : Guys .. I still don't ..

Sky : No. You are coming, and that's it. Don't back out now or else it will defeat the purpose of this celebration.

Kuri : But I really don't have the mood.

Summer : Kuri, I think it's time you move on. You can't keep hanging on to Jim. He won't want you to do that ..

Kuri : But I want to ..

Kuri walk faster, leaving the 2 behind.

Sky : Nice try sliping it in. You know it won't work.

Summer : It's worth a try ..

Summer and Sky tilt their head a bit and continue their way there ..

Int. Secret Room

The Ch0s3n 0nes come down and are facinated by the way Dominic and Reon decorated the place ..

Dominic : Like it ?

Summer : Love it !! Thanks ..

Dominic : It was Reon's idea.

Summer went forward and give Dominic a hug.

Sky (looking around) : Maybe next time I can ask you 2 to decorate my room ..

Reon : Don't push it.

The 5 of them burst out laughing.

Dominic : So, shall we start the celebration ??

Sky : You betcha !!

The 5 of them gathered around the table as they get ready to dig in. The screen zoom to the top of the table, showing food such as Chicken wings, fishballs, sotong balls, curry puffs, crab stick and etc. They began to eat and chat at the same time ..

Reon : Let's do something tomorrow to start the first day of you all being the Ch0s3n 0nes for a year.

Sky : I can't. I have something on after school tomorrow.

Summer : What thing ?

Sky : I recently found this shop that holds events and workshops to so-called, "educate" people about being witches and stuff. Tomorrow they are going to this forest at Woodlands for some energy-connecting event. Anyone want to come ?

Dominc, Summer & Kuri : Nahz ..

Reon : I'll go with you then, since I have nothing on tomorrow.

Sky : Cool ..

Suddenly Summer look up and look around ..

Voice : Power Of 0ne ..

Sky : The voice again ?

(Summer nodded.)

Summer : What does it even mean ?

The rest shrugged their shoulders, indicating that they don't know.

Dominic : Let's enjoy first. Since nothing is wrong now, let's worry about that tomorrow ..

The rest nodded. They then began the celebration, having fun as time passes ..

Int. Forest - Thursday Afternoon

After school, Reon and Sky glowed in behind a tree and emerged out. They look around as not more than 10 people are in front of them. Then, a woman walk towards them ..

Sky : Hi, Ami. This is my friend, Reon.

Reon : Hi Ami.

Ami : Hi, I'm Ami, the in-charge of today's event and a high priestess.We are about to start. Come ..

Reon and Sky follow Ami as they walks towards a straight boulder. They mingle around while waiting for the event to start.

Woman : Wow .. You guys become witches when there is a full blue moon ? I'm sensing some great power here.

Sky : We're not .. witches. Just .. wiccan.

Reon : And the diff is ?

Sky nudged Reon and rolled his eyes.

Ami : Guys, we are starting. Gather around.

(Everybody surrounds a long boulder.)

Ami : Ok, This rock over here is a like a centre, connecting all the energy together as one. To sense it, let's hold our hands together and feel the energy from the nature, going through us.

Everybody hold hands and closed their eyes. After a while, the voice was heard once more ..

Voice : Power 0f 0ne ..

Sky (open his eyes) : What ?

Reon : What's wrong ?

Sky : The .. voice ..

Reon : Now you heard it too ?

(Sky nodded.)

Int. Secret Room

Meanwhile, Summer, Kuri and Dominic are seen chilling in the chapel. Summer is resting when she sensed something ..

Dominic : What's wrong ?

Summer : Something evil is here ..

Kuri : Huh ?

Just then, a portal open up on the wall and a demon come out of it. It quickly ran towards the book and took it, before running back into the portal. Before Summer, Kuri and Dominic could react, the portal closes up ..

Summer : Wha .. WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED ?!

Kuri : How did that demon come in !?

Dominic : Guys .. the book .. it's gone ..

The 3 of them look towards the location where the book once laid ..

Kuri : Crap ..

[Screen Blacked Out]

Int. Secret Room - Late Afternoon

Summer, Kuri and Dominic are touching the wall where the portal once opened.

Summer : How did that demon come in ? I thought the chapel was protected ??

Dominic : Maybe that time when your powers went down, the chapel forcefield's power also went down.

Summer : Impossible. When the Ministry attacked, the forcefield's power is still strong.

Kuri : More importantly, how did that demon get the book ? Sky said Reon tried to touch it but it protected itself from him.

Just then, Reon and Sky glowed in, chatting. Sensing something wrong, both of them stop their conversation ..

Sky : Why are you guys touching the wall ?

Kuri : See whether there is anything missing in the room.

Reon and Sky look around, checking ..

Reon : That's nothing ..

Sky : Wait. Where's the Book of Shadow ?

Summer : Nice observation. You won't believe me if I told you. A demon took it ..

Sky : WHAT ?! How ?

Dominic : We are wondering about that too ..

Reon : What happened ?

Summer : We are resting here when suddenly a portal open up in the wall. A demon who has a lot of horns on its head came out of the portal and before we can react, it took the book and disappeared back into the portal.

Sky : Any idea what demon it might be ?

Reon : Hmmz .. I'm not too sure. Let me go to the underworld and check it out.

Dominic : Be careful.

Reon nodded and glowed out.

Kuri : What do we do now ?

Summer : Pray .. that whatever that demon wants with the book, it better not concern us.

Sky : That's crap.

Summer tilt her head and rolled her eyes.

Int. ??

The demon seen earlier was flipping the book. The screen move to the top of the book and we can see that the demon is reading the book backwards. After a few seconds, the incantation on the page disappeared and a whirlwind appeared in front of the demon. As it materialised, we can see the face of the being. It's Benson Khaw !! There are crack lines all over his face and body.

Benson : Where am I ?!

The demon spoke to him in some unknown language. Benson nodded and smiled evily before blinking out.

End Of Act 2

Int. Secret Room - Thursday Evening

The Ch0s3n 0nes and Dominic are sitting around the table, thinking ..

Sky : What could the demon want with the book ?

Kuri : To kill us of course.

Summer : By our magick ?

Dominic : High possibility.

Just then, noises are heard above.

Kuri : Now what ?

The Ch0s3n 0nes and Dominic gets up and leave the room.

Ext. Chapel

Benson is throwing fire towards the chapel but it was deflected away by the forcefield. The Ch0s3n 0nes come out of the chapel and was shocked to Benson.

Ch0s3n 0nes : Benson !! What the .. We have vanquished you already !!

Benson : Nice to see you guys again. Thanks to the demon, It resurract me so that I can have my revenge. Looks like you guys have been more powerful since last time I saw you.

Kuri : We learned over the year.

Benson : If that's so, I think I want your powers even more now.

Summer : Not going to happen ..

Benson shoot flames towards the chapel but it got deflected back. Kuri then telekinate him and he was seen flying furthur away from the chapel and knocked onto the wall behind him.

Sky : Wow .. that hurts.

Kuri : Quick, take this time and chant the Power Of Ch0s3n spell.

The other 2 nodded. They hold hands together and began chanting ..

Ch0s3n 0nes :

"United Powers, Ch0s3ns, Will Set us Free. United Powesr, Ch0s3ns, Will Set us Free.
United Powers, Ch0s3ns, Will se""

As they chant, fire began to formed on different parts of Benson's body.

Benson : No .. Not again .. ArghhH !!

Benson exploded, leaving only ashes behind.

Kuri : Ok, we have to take the book back and quick.

Int. ??

The demon is flipping the book again, this time on a familiar face. It started chanting and a fire occurred beside it. Then, it materialised into something familiar. The demon spoke to her and Bloody Mary disappeared in a mist.

Int. Secret Room

The Ch0s3n 0nes come down. Just then, Reon glowed in.

Dominic : Hey, who's up there ?

Summer : You wil not believe it. It's Benson Khaw.

Reon : Who's that ?

Sky : He was a teacher who taught us geography but he turns out to be a warlock, trying to steal our powers but we vanquished him last year.

Dominic : Then, how is he able to come back ?

Kuri : Don't know. So Reon, what did you find out ?

Reon : Well, apparently that demon is Lilith. It has been living in the astral plane for quite a long time.

Dominic : What's an astral plane ?

Reon : Well, it's kinda a world where the ghost live in. But there are many astral planes so it's hard to find out where it actually hid in.

Summer : That make sense. That's how it's able to get in and grabbed the book.

Sky : Care to explain ?

Summer : Well, we lived in the physical world, right ? Since astral plane is where the ghost lived in, so it's kinda like we are sharing the same place but only at different plane. So .. it's always here with us. It was not from outside from the beginning.

Kuri : That's why it's able to get into the chapel. But how is it able to take the book then ?

Summer : The book must have not sensed its evilness as the demon has been spending so much time in the astral plane so its essence has been lost to the surrounding.

Just then, Bloody Mary appeared into room through a mist.

Sky : Ok, What the hell is going on ? Why are all our past enemies coming back ??

Bloody Mary : YOU GUYS KILLED ME !! I WILL KILL YOU ALL !!

Bloody Mary began her high screeching that caused everybody to cover their ears.

Kuri (covering her ears) : Stop .. screaming .. Bitch !!

Kuri telekinate one of Midnight's toys towards Bloody Mary, sealing her mouth. Summer then back-kicked her, sending her towards the wall, knocking her out.

Sky : I'll start making the potion for her.

Summer : Let's think of something to find the book back.

The rest gathered around the table as Sky proceed to one corner to make the potion. After a while, they heard the potion exploded and Sky walk over to where Bloody Mary lie and dropped the potion on her, causing her to explode.

Sky : Ok, 1 thing settled. Why do all our past enemies return ? And how ? We vanquished them already ..

Summer : We've a theory. We think that the demon is reading the book from behind. See the sequence ? First is Benson Khaw, now is Bloody Mary.

Sky : Just like how we vanquished them in sequence. (Think a few seconds) Oh no ..

All : What ?

Sky : The next one is .. the spell that give us our powers. If it ever read that backwards, our powers will be gone.

Summer : Then we have to stop it from happening by getting the book before it reach that page.

Sky : What plans have you guys got then ?

Summer : We are going to open the portal.

Sky : How ?

Kuri : Spell ..

Kuri went to the wall and began drawing the symbol of Triquertra on it, with a white chalk. Summer is seen writing a spell. After a while, Summer stands up and join the other 2, who are seen standing in front of the wall.

Summer : The spell is done. When the portal is open, Kuri, you telekinate the book and the demon out.

(Kuri nodded.)

Sky : Let's do this ..

Ch0s3n 0nes :

" This portal that connects the 2 worlds,
Astral plane and human world.
Open now to thee,
Open up, where Lilith is !! "

The Triquetra logo glowed in blue light and the portal open up. The 3 of them are still holding hands, trying to let the portal stay open as long as possible. Kuri telekinate both the demon and the book out from the portal. Upon letting go, the portal closed up. Kuri telekinate Lilith towards the wall. It got up and wanted to grab the book it dropped when it was being sent towards the wall but Kuri move it away. Summer then kick Lilith on its chest and he landed on the floor. Just when the Ch0s3n 0nes thought they got the upper hand, Lilith telekinate the 3 of them across the room. Lilith stand up and hold out its hand and the book goes fly to his hands. Reon throw some energy balls towards Lilith, which it telekinate away but one hit him, sending him flying towards the wall. Lilith gets up quickly and open up the portal. He disappeared into it when the portal closes.

Summer : Ok, that plan didn't work.

Sky : We need a new one.

Voice : Power 0f 0ne ..

This time, all 3 Ch0s3n 0nes heard it.

Kuri : You guys heard that ?

Sky : Ya ..

Summer : Told you guys so.

Sky : But what does it mean ?

Kuri : That the strongest one within us three fights it ? Sky ?

Sky : What ? No way. If we can't defeat it when the three of us are together, what makes you think one of us can do it ?

Dominic : But what does it mean ?

Reon : Maybe the 3 of working as one ?

All heads turned towards Reon, confused. Reon walk to the logo where the portal once open and explain ..

Reon : See your symbol. It stands for 3 power working as one. So maybe you guys should merge your powers as one.

Dominic : Like the Power of Ch0s3n ?

Reon : Only more than that.

Kuri : Well, how the hell are we supposed to do that ?

Sky : I think I know how ..

Int. Forest - Thursday Daybreak

The Ch0s3n 0nes are surrounding the long boulder as seen earlier.

Summer : Why are we going to hug this rock ?

Sky : For the last time, we are NOT hugging the rock. We are surrounding it.

Kuri : And why is that ?

Sky : The high pristess of the event say that this rock is a centre where it connects all the energies as one. So, by merging our powers together through this rock, and with a little help from the nature, it generally fufilled the phrase of Power of 0ne.

Summer : Let's hope it works. But how do that help us in getting the book back ?

Sky : Remember the spell to received our powers ?

Summer & Kuri : Ya ..

Sky : It's that spell that give us our powers and connects the 3 of us together so we have to use that and call the book.

The 3 of them gathered around the boulder and hold their hands together.

Ch0s3n 0nes :

" Hear now the words of the Powers,
The secrets we hid in the night,
The Oldest of Gods are invoked here,
The Great Work Of Magick is sought.
In this night, Full blue moon, in darkest hour,
We invoke thee, most ancient power.
Blessed the powers upon us 3,
In this sacred space, so MOTE IT BE !! "

As they continue chant this, gusts of winds surrounds them and a glowing Triquetra was seen floating on top. Then, something shiny glowed from above. Then a loud "Thud" was heard on the boulder. As the glow diminished, it materialised into a book ..

Summer : The book !!

Just then, the portal opens up, showing Lilith in it. It tries to come out and take the book but he was telekinated back into the astral plane by Kuri.

Kuri : Quick, let's vanquish that demon ..

Ch0s3n 0nes :

"United Powers, Ch0s3ns, Will Set us Free. United Powesr, Ch0s3ns, Will Set us Free.
United Powers, Ch0s3ns, Will se..."

As they chant the spell, the portal glowed and the demon yell in pain. As they keep chanting, the demon began to burst into fire. After a while, the fire consumed Lilith and the portal closes, permanently. The glowing Triquetra continue to glow after the portal closes. It then began to decend in a swirling motion and into the Triquetra carving in the book. Upon disappearing into the carving, it glowed in a blood-red light before diminishing after a few seconds ..

Sky : It worked. Power of 0ne ..

Kuri : Power of Ch0s3n ..

Summer and Sky look at Kuri, then they look at each other ..

Int. Classroom - Friday Morning

The Ch0s3n 0nes are in class, with Mr Kairul teaching them ..

Mr Kairul : Class, I'm so glad to be able to teach you all again this year. Teaching your class always bring joys to me.

Class : We good mahz .. Hahahaz ..

Mr Kairul : Hahahz .. Ya right. Anyway, hope this year you all can work hard and proceed to the class you all wanted. Remember, this year is the streaming year. Let's work hard together.

Class : Yes ..

Mr Kairul : Good to hear that. Now, let's begin the year by going to page 2 of your textbook ..

Int. Secret Room - Late Morning

The Ch0s3n 0nes, Dominic and Reon are seen chilling in the chapel after their break.

Summer : How many demons have we vanquished now ? 20 ??

Sky : I think more than that.

Dominic : To think a year pass by just like that ..

Just then, Kuri's phone rang. She proceed to another corner of the room and answered it. After a while, she return back to where she once rest ..

Kuri : Guys, it's Jim's lawyer. He told us to meet him next week.

Summer : For what ?

Kuri : It's about the house ..
