Int. Manor (Living Room) - Wednesday Night

The screen lights up, showing the cresent shining high up the sky. The screen then transit to the exterior of the Manor, scanning from top to bottom. The screen transits again into the living room, where we can see the Ch0s3n 0nes and Sirius watching television ..

Kuri : This is sad. I mean, her parents make her go through all kinds of treatment just to prove that she is mentally ill. Why can't they just accept the fact that their children is special ? Is it so hard ?

Sirius : Kuri, not everybody can accept the fact that their kids is special. If the world can accept it in an instant, there won't be any pact that forbid the use of magick in the public and the Witch hunt back in the 1450s.

Kuri : Still .. I think everybody needs to have an open mind about such stuff.

Summer : Kuri, not everybody has powers like we do. Of course we won't understand how the mortals will feel when their children have powers. We're different ..

Sky : I can't agree more. If I'm the girl, I will keep my mouth shut about my powers and maybe use it for good secretly so that I can learn to use my powers well and also live a normal live.

Kuri : I actually go and research on this topic. From what I've found out, people in the past used to practise magick openly. But I think some witches or mages misused that right and thus the Witch Hunt period begin. What a shame, if only we lived in the past ..

Sirius : You won't want to live in the past, trust me.

The Ch0s3n 0nes look at Sirius, confused ..

Sirius : You know, it's getting late. There's still school tomorrow. I'm going to bed.

Summer : Me too. I have to meet Dominic early in the morning for breakfast ..

Sky : Finally I can have 1 morning to sleep late ..

Kuri : But that was like .. 30 minutes more.

Sky : It's still better than the usual morning.

The 4 of them switched off the television and went up the stairs ..

Int. School (Carpark) - Thursday Morning

The screen showed the sky, transiting from night to day. Then the screen move down, showing the Ch0s3n 0nes' school. It goes pass through it and stop at the carpark, where the Ch0s3n 0nes' class are warming up, lead by Sirius. All the girls seems to be facinated by Sirius, who kept looking at Sky. Sirius then lead them to run around the school for a few rounds before letting them play sports. Although the girls took all the chances they have to get near to Sirius while running, Sirius only run beside Sky all the time. After running, Sirius begin to let them play their own sports.

Zick : Mr Connors, come and join us for a game of soccer.

Boys : Ya !!

Sirius : All right.

The boys cheered and the girls and Ch0s3n 0nes sit at a side and watch the game. As Sirius kick the ball, the girls will let out a "Oh .."sound.

Regina : He's so handsome ..

Vicky : And athletic too .. My perfect guy ..

Summer : He has someone he likes you know.

Girls : Who !?

Kuri : One of our outside friends. She is around his age too and works as a model. You girls have no chance with him ..

Vicky : Who says ? As long he is not married, we all still have a chance with him.

Sky : Trust me, you girls really don't have a chance.

Vicky : We shall see ..

Vicky and the girls turn and look at the soccer game, leaving Ch0s3n 0nes laughing secretly.

Sky (whisper) : Kuri, since when did I become so old and as a model ?

Kuri (whisper) : Since I want to protect you and Sirius.

Sky (whisper) : We're not together now. He is free to date anyone he wants.

Summer (whisper) : Sky, can't you see ? Sirius still loves you. Him living together with us, teaching in the school we studied .. It's as if it's been arranged by the Heaven. You 2 are meant together.

Sky (whisper) : No .. I'm with Brenda now .. so I'm meant to be with her. And Sirius teaching here is because he wants to. He's living with us because you asked him to. So it's not been arranged.

Kuri (whisper) : Still .. there are still factors that seems to lead him to us .. to you. So ?

Sky : So ? I think we should focus now more on me and Brenda than Sirius and me. It's getting bored here, I'm going to the chapel. You guys want to follow ?

Summer & Kuri : Sigh .. Fine.

The Ch0s3n 0nes left the carpark and proceed towards the chapel ..

Int. Chapel - Main Hall

The Ch0s3n 0nes enter the chapel and Summer stopped them immediately.

Summer : Guys .. there is someone here.

Sky's forcefield came up as the Ch0s3n 0nes look around, trying to find the person Summer sensed. Just then, a knocking is heard under the altar table. The Ch0s3n 0nes walk carefully towards the altar and to behind it.

Kuri : Who are you ?!

A girl is seen snuggling with a piece of cloth covering her behind the altar. She wakes up and saw that she's surrounded by the Ch0s3n 0nes ..

Cathy : Who are you three ??

Kuri : Who the hell are you and what are you doing here ?

Cathy : I'm Cathy Zhang. I'm .. I'm taking refuge in here.

Sky : Why ?

Cathy : None of your business.

Summer : Actually .. it is when you are sleeping in our place. Give me your house number. I'm calling your parents to take you home.

Cathy : No !! Please don't call my parents. I don't want to go back there.

Kuri : What's wrong ? Your parents abusing you ?

Cathy : No. They love me a lot .. but .. you don't understand.

Sky : Try us.

Cathy : You will call me crazy. Just don't call my parents .. please.

Voice : Cathy .. Can you hear me ? I'm Dex. Cathy !!

Cathy : No .. go away .. you're not real.

The Ch0s3n 0nes turn and look at the direction where the voice is. They saw a transparent figure of a boy, looked not much older than 16 years old. The ghost is shocked that the Ch0s3n 0nes can see him ..

Summer : Who are you ?

Dex : You can see me ? | Cathy : You can see him ?

Sky : Ya ..

Cathy : That means I'm not crazy. But .. how ?

Kuri (To Ghost Boy) : Dex .. Right ? Why are you haunting her ?

Dex : She can see me .. And now you guys can too. I need help from her.

Summer : Hold that thought. (To Cathy) You can see ghosts ?

Cathy : I thought I'm crazy but now that I know you guys saw him too, can you help me ?

Summer : How ?

Cathy : Take this gift away ..

The screen shift to the face of the Ch0s3n 0nes, who all had the confused look ..

End Of Act 1

Int. Secret Room - Thursday Morning

The screen lights up in the Secret room, where we can see a much cleaned Cathy, with the Ch0s3n 0nes around her. The ghost is standing in a corner, looking ..

Summer : Ok, ghost boy. What's your deal ?

Dex : I need help in finding my parents. They need to know what happened to me.

Kuri : And that would be ?

Dex : Me and my friends are on our way ..

(Flashback : The screen flashed and we, the audience, see ourselves in a car, driving on a deserted road. There are 4 people, each at a seat and cheering loudly. They are obviously drunk and blabbering nonesencically. The driver was not looking at the road, busy talking to his friends. Then, something jump out and stand in the road. The driver tried to shun it by driving to the side but he didn't slow it down in time, thus crashing the car into one of the house. The impact caused the 4 boys unconscious and the screen move out of the car, showing that the car is leaking oil. Then, a large explosion occurred, blowing up the house and the car ..)

Dex : And that's how I died.

Kuri : Ok. We need to spilt on this one.

Summer : Kuri, you and Reon will follow me.

Sky : I'll go and ask Sirius and try to convince Cathy's parents to believe in her powers.

Cathy : They won't believe you. They will think you guys are a bunch of nutjob and will call the asylum.

Kuri : Is that .. what happened to you ??

Cathy nodded and hid her head in her arms. The Ch0s3n 0nes look at her in pityness ..

Sky : Don't worry, we will help you. (To Summer & Kuri) I'll go and call them now.

(Sky went up the stairs.)

Summer : Tell us where you lived, Dex.

Dex : No problem ..

Int. Carpark

Sky reached the carpark and saw Sirius, Reon and Dominic surrounded by girls. The screen shift to them, where the girls are probing more information about Sirius. He looks rather awkward and try to smile his way through. Sky stand in one corner, laughing to himself. When he sensed that Sirius can't refused the questions anymore, he walk towards and through the crowd of girls.

Sky (Shouting) : Sorry girls !! The principal wants to see Mr Connors, NOW !!

The girls begin to dispersed after letting out the "Oh man ..". Sirius heaved a sigh of relief ..

Sirius : Thanks .. How long have you been standing there ?

Sky : Not long. I was just enjoying myself, seeing how you feel so uneasy with all the girls around. Anyway, we have a situation right now.

Reon : What's wrong ? A demon attack ?

Sky : Here is not a very good place to start talking. Follow me ..

Int. Secret Room

Sky, Sirius, Reon and Dominic come down from the stairs.

Summer : Hey Sweetie, how's the match ?

Dominic : Nice. We won, all thanks to Sirius.

Sirius : What's with the people over here ?

Sky : Sirius, this is Cathy and she has the ability to see ghost.

Sirius : A medium ? And that guy ?

Kuri : Dex, a ghost. We have 2 assignments right now. Summer, me and Reon will go and help Dex on whatever his unfinished business are while you and Sky have to bring Cathy home and convince her parents about her powers.

Sirius : No problem but I want to go home and change first.

Sky : I'll take the time and inform her parents about it. Let's go.

Reon : I also need to head home first.

Sirius : What about school ?

Dominic : Don't worry, I get you guys covered. As per usual. Do I need to tell you to be careful ?

Summer : I don't think so. Helping someone finish something won't be dangerous. Do you want to go ?

Dominic : Nah .. I still have Soccer training today. Call me when you finished.

Summer : Sure. I Love you ..

Dominic : I love you ..

(Dominic proceed up the stairs and leave the chapel.)

Summer : Let's go ..

Sky and Sirius held Cathy up and Sky dropped the teleportation on their feet.

Summer : Now Dex, where do you live ?

Dex : At Lanvender.

Kuri : Bring us there.

(Dex nodded.)

Int. Manor - Attic

A smoke occurred and materialised into Sky, Sirius and Cathy. After putting Cathy on the sofa, Sirius leave the attic and Sky take the phone on the table and walk towards Cathy.

Sky : Tell me your no. No games please.

Cathy : 65125981.

Sky nodded and begin dialing the number. After a while, someone answer the call ..

Sky : Hi, is Mr or Mrs Zhang in ?

Mr Zhang (voice) : This is Mr Zhang. Yes ?

Sky : Ya, My name is Sky and your daugther, Cathy, is with me now. Can you and your wife come and pick her up as soon as possible ?

Mr Zhang (voice) : What ? Okok .. Can I speak to her, please ?

Sky : Sure.

(Sky pass the phone to Cathy.)

Cathy : Hello, Daddy.

Mr Zhang (voice) : Sweetie !! Thank god you're all right !! Are you feeling ok ?

Cathy : Ya. And Daddy, I'm sorry for running out.

Mr Zhang (voice) : Don't be silly. We will talk again when we come and fetch you. Can you pass the phone back to Mr Sky ?

(Cathy pass the phone back to Sky.)

Mr Zhang (voice) : Hi Mr Sky, We will reach at 7p.m.

Sky : Sure.

Sky hung up. Just then, Sirius enter the attic, all clean and freshed ..

Sirius : Have you call her parents yet ?

Sky : Ya. They will be here at 7p.m. (To Cathy) Are you hungry ? I can whip up something for you if you are.

Cathy : No, thanks. I just want to sleep. Can I sleep here ?

Sky : No problem. (To Sirius) You ? Are you hungry ?

Sirius : I thought you never ask ..

Sky : Wait first. Let me set the crystals up.

Sirius : I'll help you.

Sky and Sirius begin to the cabinet where all the potions and vials are seen and took out a ancient-looking box from the drawer ..

Ext. Penthhouse - Afternoon

Summer, Kuri and Reon glowed in in front of a door. After a few seconds, Dex, the ghost, fade in.

Reon : So this is your house ?

Dex : Ya.

Reon : Rich kid ..

Summer : Are you sure that your parents don't know that you're dead ?

Dex : Positive.

Kuri : This is going to be so hard. Having to know that your son is dead from outsiders .. This is crap.

Reon : Better than not to know it at all.

Summer : We have to do this, no matter how hard it is.

The rest nodded and Summer knock on the door. After waiting for a while, the door open and a woman greeted all 4 of them ..

Woman : Yes ?

Summer : Hi, can we speak to the parents of Dex please ?

Woman : I'm his mum. Yes ?

Kuri : We have some bad news about him. He's erm .. dead.

Dex's Mum : What ? Come in and we will chat inside.

Dex's mum lead them into the house and close the door ..

Int. Penthhouse

Dex's Mum lead them into the living room and the 4 of them sat down. Out of nowhere, Dex appeared beside his mum.

Dex's Mum : What happened ?

Summer : He er .. he got into a car accident and the car crashed into a house. Both of the car and the house exploded, leaving no survivors behind.

Dex's Mum (crying) : I told him not to go to the Rock concert, he just won't listen. Look what happened ..

Kuri : One more thing .. his spirit is here with us.

Dex's Mum : What ?

Reon : He's beside you.

Dex's Mum : Are you people kidding me ?

Kuri : We wish we were but .. we aren't.

Dex's Mum (taken aback for a few seconds) : Dex !! Dex !! Can you hear me ?!

Summer : He can hear you but you can't hear him. Whatever he wants to say to you, we will pass the message.

Dex : Tell my mum that I'm sorry.

Summer : Dex said he's sorry.

Dex's Mum : It's ok, silly boy. We forgive you.

Dex : Tell her I always love her and that I will be fine. Tell her to give more love and care towards my sister and baby brother. Tell my dad that I'm sorry and If I have the chance again, I will want to be his little champion.

Reon : He said, he always love you and your husband. He said he is fine and tell you to love and care more for his sister and baby brother.

Dex's Mum : Cecilia and Shawn .. Dex dotes on them a lot when he was .. alive ..

Kuri : He also wants you to tell your husband that he is sorry and that if he have a second chance, he will not do such thing again and be his little champion.

Dex's Mum (crying) : Yes .. That silly boy. His father called him a champion because he is very good in sports.

Summer : Anything else, Dex ?

Dex : No more. Tell her I love her and daddy.

(Summer nodded.)

Summer : He want to tell you he loves you and your husband one last time before he cross over. Anything you want to say to him before he goes ?

Dex's Mum : Dex !! Rest in peace !! Your father and I forgive you .. We will love and care on Cecilia and Shawn like we dote on you. Be assured.

Dex (to Summer, Kuri & Reon) : Thanks ..

Dex then fade out, leaving a breeze of wind in the house.

Reon : He's gone.

Dex's Mum : Thank you, thank you so much.

Kuri : We will call Inspector Derick and arrange a time for you and your husband to come and collect Dex's body.

(Dex's Mum nodded.)

Kuri : We've got to go. Take care and sorry for your loss.

Summer, Kuri & Reon gets up and leave the house, leaving a crying Dex's Mum ..

The 3 of come out of the house and Reon close the door. They saw Dex still waiting for them at the Elevator ..

Kuri : Didn't you cross over ? Why are you still doing here ?

Dex : There's one more thing I need to do before crossing over.

Reon : What's that ?

Dex : It's about Cathy. Someone or something wants to hurt her.

Int. Manor (Living Room) - Thursday Evening

The screen lights up in the living room of the manor. Cathy is sitting between a man and a woman while Sky and Sirius sit at the single sofa beside them.

Cathy's Mum : Thank you, Mr Sky, for finding her. We've been worried sick about her. Thank god you guys found her.

Sky : Actually, we didn't find her. She was sleeping near our school when we found her.

Cathy's Mum : Really ? (To Cathy) Are you all right ?

Cathy : Ya, Mum. Don't worry ..

Cathy's Dad : If there is nothing else, we shou ..

Sirius (interupt) : Actually .. there is another matter we want to talk to you regarding Cathy.

Cathy's Mum : What thing ?

Sky : About what she can do.

Cathy's Mum : Oh .. You mean the imaginary things she saw ? It's nothing, we can take care of it.

Sirius : Nono .. I don't think you guys get it. Cathy .. she is a medium.

Cathy's Dad & Mum : What ?

Sky : She is a medium, meaning she is able to see and talk to ghost. Does anyone in your family are also a medium ?

Cathy's Dad : My mum was one. She's a chinese medium. I thought she was bluffing me when she told me of her career but .. Cathy is a medium ?

Sirius : Yes. And you guys have to believe her. The things she saw, is not fake. All are real.

Cathy's Mum : And how will you know ?

Sky : Because .. I have powers too. I know it's kinda hard to believe. Trust me when I tell you that I can't believe it too in the beginning but as times goes by, I learned to accept my powers and do great things with it. Cathy can too. She does not belong to the asylum. She's not crazy.

Cathy : Mum .. He's right. I can see ghost. Believe him .. and me.

Cathy's Dad : Listen Mr Sky, I really appreciate your help in finding her but you shouldn't encourage her madness.

Voice : She's not crazy, so is Sky.

All of them turn and look at the direction of the voice and the screen shift towards the staircase, where we can see Summer, Kuri and Reon coming down.

Sky : You guys are back.

Kuri : Ya. (To Cathy's Mum & Dad) We know you guys won't believe us if we just told you.

Summer : So we thought of a way to make you believe it. Sky, do it.

Sky :

" Let them see, what can't be seen,

Cathy's Mum & Dad's eyes glowed and they look at Sky and Sirius.

Cathy's Dad : What did you guys do ?

Sirius : Look over to the staircase.

Cathy's Mum & Dad look over to the staircase, this time, Dex fade in.

Dex : Hi there.

Cathy's Dad & Mum : What the .. ?

Cathy : See, Mum, Dad ? I'm not crazy.

Mr and Mrs Zhang are speechless for a while before one of them regain their focus.

Cathy's Mum : Honey, I'm sorry that I don't believe you.

Cathy's Dad : I don't.

Cathy's Mum : Frank !!

Frank : What, Rosie ? She is insane, so are all these people !!

Rosie : Frank !!

Summer : Stop it. We got more pressing matter.

Sirius : What's wrong ?

Kuri : Dex, you want to tell them ?

Sky : Aren't you suppose to cross over or something after settling your unfinished business?

Dex : Ya but I have another unfinished business and it concerns Cathy. There's some being after her for her powers. He tried to whisper me to the evil side but I managed to fight off the temptation and escaped.

Sky : Great, a demon after spirits now ?

Reon : Don't know. However, we tried to check up on him in the book but nadah.

Just then, a shadowy figure emerges out of the ground and materialised into a man. He is seen wearing a long coat and a hat that covered his face.

Summer : Reon !! Bring them to the attic, Now !!

Sky : Wait !! Be careful, I set up the cage in the attic to prevent evil from entering.

Reon : Gotcha.

Summer and Kuri come down and join Sky on the stairs while Cathy's Parent and Sirius run up the stairs, led by Reon.

Sky : Cathy !! Go up too !!

Cathy : No. If what he wants is me, all the more I should stay here. You guys have done a lot of helps to me, please .. let me help you.

Kuri : Stand behind us.

Cathy nodded and went behind them as they walk and stop in a distance, in front of the Man in Black.

Kuri : Who are you and what do you want ?

Man : Not you the Ch0s3n 0nes but Her.

Summer : What do you want with her ?

Man : I'm evil. What do you think ?

Sky : We're good. And what do you think we are going to do next ?

Man : Banish me ? Just like what you did to Trudy ? You guys don't know who you are dealing with here.

Kuri : I do know it's a demon who wants to kill innocent but you have to get past us.

Man : No problem.

The man throw a glowing ball towards the Ch0s3n 0nes but Sky's forcefield came up quickly, deflecting the attack. Kuri tries to telekinate the man back but nothing happen.

Kuri : Why isn't my powers working ?

Man : Ar .. you must be the one who can move things. But you can only move things that is corporeal, not incorporeal one.

Kuri : He's a spirit ?!

Summer : Great, now what ?

Sky : Guys, hold my hand.

Kuri : Why ?

Sky : I'll explain later. Cathy, you too.

Cathy : Oh ok.

The Ch0s3n 0nes and Cathy hold hands together. Sky begin chanting ..

The Ch0s3n 0nes & Cathy :

" This evil spirit, no living can vanquish,
Through the Ch0s3n and Cathy's powers,
fight him off, banish him. "

The man begin to tremble furiously. Just then, flames in serpent shapes appear from the ground and swirl around the man. As the flames gets closer to each other, they dragged the man down into the ground. The Ch0s3n 0nes heaved a sigh of relieve as Sky's forcefield came down.

Cathy : Is he gone ?

Sky : I guess so.

Summer : Care to explain why we need to hold hands ?

Sky : Since the spirit wants Cathy for her powers, I figure she will be a threat to him. So, I mixed our vanquishing power with her powers together and banish him.

Kuri : Did it work ? Cause I didn't see him explode.

Sky : Don't know but it managed to send him off. I say it's a success.

Cathy : Thank you so much.

Summer : Wait, there's one more you need to do with your power ..

Int. Attic - Night

Cathy is seen standing in front of Dex, with the Ch0s3n 0nes, Sirius, Reon and Cathy's parents surrounding them.

Cathy : You don't belong here. You need to cross over.

Dex : But I don't know what's on the other side. What if it's something bad ?

Cathy : I don't know .. but if you are going to heaven, it won't be that bad, won't it ?

Dex : You're right. Sigh .. Thank you.

Cathy : No, thank you. If it wasn't you, I will still be trapped at the asylum or dead now.

Dex : Hahahz .. Thanks to you guys too.

Summer : No problem.

Kuri : Go in peace, ok ?

Dex : Will do.

Just then, Dex look above and his face change from scared to happiness ..

Dex : Wow .. the light .. it's so bright and .. beautiful. And .. it's so peaceful.

Cathy : Go into it. You deserve it.

Dex : You sure ?

Cathy (smiling) : Ya.

Dex : Bye ..

All : Bye ..

Dex walk past Cathy and fade out, leaving a small breeze in the attic.

Cathy : He's gone, is he ?

Sky : To the other side.

Sirius : It's a happy place. I've been there.

Sky : Wait. How ?

Sirius : You have to be dead to be a Lightbringer.

Sky : O .. k.

Reon : So Mr Zhang, believe in what your daughter can do now ?

Frank : Ya. And sweetie, I'm sorry that we sent you to the asulym without givng you a chance to explain or prove yourself.

Cathy : It's ok, daddy.

Rosie : Thank you.

Sirius : Cathy, use your powers well. Use it for good and help those spirit in needs.

All of them go down, leaving the noisy attic empty and quiet once more ..

Int. Dining Room - Friday Morning

The screen lights up in the Dining room and we can see on the table there are eggs, breads, bacons and ham. The Ch0s3n 0nes and Sirius are seen eating their breakfast and Reon glowed in ..

Reon : Am I late ?

Sky : No, we just get started. Sit ..

Reon heaved a sigh of relieve and put his bag down beside his chair as he sit down.

Kuri : Looks like our debate finally got an answer.

All : Huh ?

Kuri : Remember we have a discussion about keeping quiet about the powers and stuff ? After what happened to Cathy, I realised that what you guys said is true, the world is afraid of things they don't know so when something such as this happened, they will think it's crazy and send the person to asylum for treatments, hoping to cure him or her when there's nothing wrong.

Sirius : Well, not exactly what we said is correct. It's all depend on the listener, whether they are open-minded or not. Plus, the person must know how to transmit the information correctly to the listener or else, lots of stuff will happen if there is a miscommunication.

Sky : Well, it all still bends down to communications skills. (Look at Summer) Summer, are you ok ? You've been keeping quiet since this morning. What's wrong ?

Summer : Nothing .. it's just .. I keep having this feeling ..

Kuri : Of what ?

Summer : That we didn't really banish that spirit ..

Int. ??

The screen transits from the dining room to some unknown place. The surrounding we can see is like in a river, where waves and waves of ripples are seen. Then, the spirit of the man seen earlier appeared with flames surrounding him. He flinch and turned, trying to get rid of the fire. After a few turns, the fire finally gone out and smokes are seen coming from the man ..

Voice : Told you it's sucidal going against the Ch0s3n 0nes.

Man : I'm not targetting them, only the girl.

Voice : Still, she's under their protection now. It will be hard killing her ..

Man : Then we will just target on other mediums first.

Voice : What will you do when all the mediums are dead ?

Man : I will lure the spirits to the dark side and take over Hades' throne. When that happens, not even the Ch0s3n 0nes can stop me now. Hahahaz ..

The screen zoomed out slowly as the evil spirit laugh ..
