Int. School (Kuri's Classroom) - Monday Morning

The screen lights up from credits in the exterior of the Ch0s3n 0nes' school. It then transits one more time into Kuri's classroom, where her class is seen settling down. Just then, Mr Adrien enter the class and proceed towards the teachers' table.

Adrien : Ok class, before we start our lesson, I want to introduce a new .. or rather old student into our class. Come in ..

Kuri enter the room and the class' eyes widen.

Class : Kuri !!

Kuri : Hi guys, I'm back ..

The class begin to rush towards Kuri and surround her.

Karen : But how ? Aren't you supposed to be ..

Kuri (interupt) : Dead ? Hahaha .. well, I was helping the police with some stuff and they feared that I might be in danger so they announce to the whole world that I'm dead.

Adrien : Ok class, you guys can go reunion later. I'm going to start lesson now.

The class begin to settle down and Mr Adrien begin to start the lesson. Kuri look around, checking her surrounding.

Kuri (thinking) : It's good to be back ..

Kuri smiled and focus back on the lesson ..

Int. Road

The screen transits from the classroom into the same road where the man's car was found. An officer lead Derick into the crime scene and Derick check the place out.

Derick : What's the situation ?

Officer : A body was found, no wound, no struggle, nothing. It maybe a natural death.

Derick : But this is not the first case here. Remember we found another car around here just a few metres away ?

Officer : Yes, sir. You think these 2 cases are linked ?

Derick : Maybe. Where's Calvin ?

Officer : He haven't reach here yet, Sir.

Derick : Give me a call when the autopsy has been done.

The officer nodded and proceed to do his owe stuff. Derick look around and dial on his phone ..

Int. School (Canteen) - Late Morning

Kuri and Summer are seen having their meal in one of the table in the canteen. Just then, Sky and Sirius walk towards the table with their food.

Sirius : So, how's your first day ?

Kuri : So far so good. Everybody is taking good care of me and I feel loved again.

Sky : And how's the catching up ?

Kuri : Well, I think that's not much problem with that except of chemistry. I think I might have mixed up a few formulas. I'm going to find Miss Swanson later to ask her teach me.

Summer : And your CCA .. when do you plan to resume ?

Kuri : Erm .. not for now. Maybe a few weeks later ? I just came back and I want to focus on my studies first. The rest .. I'll think about it.

Summer : No problem. 'Cause Mr Mack is asking about you. I'll tell him that. You just focus on your studies.

Kuri : Thanks ..

Summer smiled at Kuri. Just then, Sky's phone and he answered it.

Sky : Hello ?

Derick (voice) : Sky !! Thank god ..

Sky : What's wrong ?

Derick (voice) : Are you guys free now because I have a new case.

Sky : Erm .. what's the matter ?

Derick (voice) : Some bodies are found and all of them are found to be normal and healthy before they die.

Sky : And ?

Derick (voice) : No injuries, nothing. It's like they just .. die.

Sky : What did the autopsy say ?

Derick (voice) : The result isn't out yet but I'm calling to inform you in case it's a supernatural case.

Sky : Can you at least wait till 2p.m ? We're having lesson now. Meanwhile, if the report is out, just call us.

Derick (voice) : No problem. Give me a call when you guys are released.

Sky : Sure do.

(Sky hung up.)

Summer : Who's that ?

Sky : Inspector. A new case is found and he has diffculty finding the source of death.

Kuri : How did the person died ?

Sky : He just says the person .. just died. No injuries, no signs of struggle but the autopsy report isn't out yet so there maybe a tint of possiblity that the person die of a sudden heart attack or something.

Kuri : Does he want us to go now 'cause I don't really feel like leaving school now.

Sky : He actually did but I told him we have school and since the autopsy isn't out yet, we shall wait till school ended and then we go and find him.

Sirius : Do you want me to get a heads-up first ?

Sky : No honey, I'm sure everything is just all right.

Kuri : Hope so ..

(Bell Rang)

Kuri : It's been a while since I last heard the school bell rang.

Sky : And you hear it till we graduated. What happened back then was so scary. I don't want to go through it again.

Kuri : I promise you 2, I won't die. At least until 100 years later.

Summer : If only you can live that long.

(The Ch0s3n 0nes and Sirius laughed.)

Sirius : Quick, let's finish quickly and head back to class.

The Ch0s3n 0nes nodded and begin to gobble their food quickly ..

End Of Act 1

Int. Derick's Office - Monday Afternoon

The screen lights up in Derick's office, where he is seen going through some documents. Just then, a knock was heard and the Ch0s3n 0nes entered.

Derick : You guys are here.

Sky : Has the report arrived ?

Derick : Just did. Have a seat.

Derick lead the Ch0s3n 0nes to the sofa and sit opposite them.

Summer : So, what's the situation ?

Derick : Weird, if you ask me. These 2 bodies found are actually healthy human beings. No records of illnesss, no reports of any live-threatening illness .. nothing. And they are not robbed or anything.

Kuri : Any other similiarities ?

Derick : Other than that, they are found in the exact area, maybe just a few metres apart.

Sky : And both are guys ?

Derick : No. The 1st one we found is a woman.

Kuri : So .. that means we are dealing with a Bisexual demon.

(Summer and Sky look at Kuri, raising one eyebrow.)

Derick : Bisexual demon ? What is that ?

Summer : Never mind her. Erm .. what did the report state ?

Derick pass the report to Summer, who begin flipping.

Summer : Ok, no signs of struggle, no valuable loss, no signs of heart attack and what now .. Maybe it's just an illness relapse.

Derick : As I have said just now, they are 2 very normal healthy people. You guys don't know what is doing all this ?

Sky : No. But maybe we can check on the location, see if we can get anything.

Derick : No problem, I'll bring you there.

The Ch0s3n 0nes proceed out of the room and Derick take his coat before proceeding out with them.

Int. Road

A car drive into the desolate road and the door opened, revealing the Ch0s3n 0nes and Derick.

Derick : Here is the place.

Sky : Let's look around and try to find something that the police might have missed out.

Summer and Kuri nodded and the 4 of them dispersed. They look around and after a few seconds, Sky called for them. They rush to his side and Sky hold up a small claw.

Sky : I think we maybe dealing with a bird here. Look at its claw .. so big .. and sharp.

Summer take the claw from Sky and get sucked into a premonition :


" We are being brought back to the teaser where the man was travelling in the lonely road. Then it stop and converse with the woman and she got in the car, the car drove off. As the man turned left from the crossroad, it begin to go deep into the darkness, with only the headlights leading the route in front. The screen move back into the car, where the man and woman are still conversing. Just then, the car stopped and the face-distorted woman pounced on the man and sucked out something whitish from his mouth. After the process ended, the woman walk out of the car and disappeared .. "


Back from the vision, Summer bend down and gasp for air.

Derick : Are you ok ?

Kuri : What did you see ?

Summer (panting) : The thing .. that did this. A woman ..

Derick : A woman ?

Summer (gets up) : Let's go back and hit the book of shadows, see whether we can find out anything about her.

The other 3 nodded and all 4 of them proceed back into the car, driving off.

Int. Manor (Attic) - Late Afternoon

The Ch0s3n 0nes entered and walk towards the book, flipping it.

Kuri : What are we looking for here ?

Summer : A woman, sucking souls out of people. Or at least it looks like it in my vision.

(Summer flipped the book back and from a few times, finding nothing.)

Summer : Nothing. Sirius !!

(Sirius orbed in after 5 seconds.)

Sirius : Ya ?

Sky : Honey, do you know of any demon that sucks people souls ?

Sirius : Erm .. Ya but there are quite a number of demons who are capable of doing that. Can you be more specific ?

Summer : Unfortunately, no. I only saw the woman in my vision. Nothing much for me to describe.

Sirius : That will be some diffculty. You need to check furthur, see if you can find some more leads.

Sky (look at Sirius dreamily) : Oh, you're so smart.

Kuri : I'll call Derick, see if he can bring us to see the first victim.

Kuri take the phone and proceed to the corner to make the call. Summer look at Sky and Sirius, who seems to be engross in their own world.

Summer : Er, Sky ..

Sky : What ?

Summer : Focus back here.

Sky : Right .. sorry.

(Kuri hung up and return to the book.)

Kuri : Derick says no problem.

Summer : All right, we will head over to the morgue and see if we can find anymore things.

Sky (To Sirius) : I'll see you later.

Sirius : Love you.

Sirius and Sky hugged and Sirius orbed out.

Sky : Let's go.

The Ch0s3n 0nes gathered and Kuri dropped the teleportation potion on their feet, dematerialising through the smoke.

Int. Morgue

The Ch0s3n 0nes and Derick entered, seeing Calvin clearing some stuff.

Calvin : Hello ..

Ch0s3n 0nes : Hey, long time no see.

Calvin : We meet again through this, huh ? Hahahaz ..

Kuri : Not exactly the way we wanted but still, nice to see you.

Derick : So, managed to get anything out ?

Calvin : Well, I've checked one more time but nothing. Same condition as the second one except maybe this one is going to rot soon.

Derick : Ok, why don't we go to the canteen and talk about this through some coffee ?

Calvin : Sounds great.

Derick : Are you guys ok here ?

Summer : Ya.

(Calvin and Derick proceed out.)

Kuri : Do your thing, Sum.

Summer exhale and hover her hand on top of the covered body. Just then, she got sucked into a premonition :


" We are being brought back to the same situtation except the driver is now a woman, wearing a black gown. She was driving along the desolated road. She spotted a man in Tuxedo by the road, waving to her car. She stop her car, revealing a very handsome man. They converse and when the man enter the car, she drive off. The same thing happened as she go deeper into the darkness after turning the crossroad. She stopped her car and the distorted man pounched onto her, sucking her soul out .. "


Back from the vision, Summer look at Sky and Kuri.

Summer : This time I think I got the real identity. Let's go.

(The Ch0s3n 0nes proceed out of the morgue.)

Int. Lonely Road - Night

The screen transits slowly from the morgue into the desolated road. A car was seen driving along it, chatting inside. Just then, they drove past a little kid, who is crying by the side of the road. They drive back and stop the car beside the kid and come out.

Man : Little boy, are you ok ?

Woman : Where's your mummy and daddy ?

Boy (crying) : I don't know where they are !!

Woman : Hush hush .. Come, let'g go to the police station and let the police find them, ok ?

The boy nodded and the man carry the boy into the car. They drive off and after a while, they reached the crossroad.

Man : Which one ?

Woman : I'm not sure. Drive straight.

Boy : No .. I remembered the front is a dead end. Turn left, there is a small town there.

Man : Wow, you sure know your way around here.

The boy smiled midly and look at the window, sadly. They turn and continue to drive. As the car drive deeper into the darkness, with the headlights shining on the road in front of them for a few metres, the couple begin to sense something wrong and stopped the car.

Woman : We've been driving around here for some time. Are we lost ?

Man : I don't think so, the boy lead us here.

Just then, a man with a bird-face crawl forward.

Bird Man : Give me your souls ~~~

The Bird man open his mouth and instantly, something whitish came out of the couple mouth and went into the Bird man ..

End Of Act 2

Int. School (Canteen) - Tuesday Late Morning

The screen lights up in the exterior of the school.

Sirius (voice) : Who is Tutan ?

The screen transits into the canteen, where the Ch0s3n 0nes and Sirius are seen sitting in one of the table.

Summer : Apparently a bird-like demon that sucks human souls to sustain himself. He is able to shapeshift himself. That's all the book says.

Kuri : No wonder you have visions of different people attacking the victims. It's because he take on different form to trick people into giving free rides and then kill them. This demon is so mean. Killing people after getting a free ride .. karma !!

Sky : He will .. and we will be his karma. So, how are we going to find him ?

Summer : We have to wait till night time and stand by there.

Sirius : I'll come with you.

Summer : We need to stop this thing before it claim anymore people.

Just then, Sky's phone rang. Sky take it out and answer it.

Sky : Hello ?

Int. Desolated Road

Derick : Sky ? We've found another body, 2 in fact.

Sky (voice) : What ? Where ?

Derick : Same place. Did you found out what is doing all these masscre ?

Sky (voice) : Ya. We'll meet up later. Found all you can about the victims and tell us later.

Derick : No problem.

Derick hung up and walk towards the car.

Officer (walk towards Derick) : Sir, we found this beside the car.

The officer hold up a claw and show to Derick.

Derick : Keep this in the evidence bag and put it in my office later.

Officer : Yes sir.

The officer put the claw in the evidence bag and walk away. Derick look around and then proceed into his car.

Int. School - Canteen

(Sky hung up.)

Kuri : What's wrong ?

Sky : Seems like 2 more bodies are found. We need to stop this thing before it harms anymore people.

Summer : I'm thinking of leaving school now.

Sky : I'm all for the idea.

Kuri : But I just got back. I can't skipped lesson on my first week.

Sirius : She's right.

Summer : Then, just let the 2 of us go and check things out. You stay here and concentrate on your studies.

Kuri : Will you guys be all right ?

Sky : Don't worry, we will be ok. We just check some stuff, no danger there.

Summer : Call us when lesson ended.

Sky : Honey, help us cover up.

Sirius : No problem. Be careful.

Summer and Sky nodded and proceed out of the canteen.

Kuri : Be careful ..

Kuri and Sirius look at each other and then out of the canteen.

Int. Derick's Office

A knock was heard and Summer and Sky entered.

Sky : Hey, Find anything different this time ?

Derick : Same old discoveries. What about you guys ?

Summer : We found out that the demon Tutan is sucking souls out of human to sustain themselve but we got no way to find him.

Derick : Maybe you need a bait.

Sky : Who can we find ?

(Derick smiled at Summer and Sky.)

Derick : Well ?

Summer & Sky : No !! | Summer : We can't let you do that.

Sky : Not say dangerous !!

Derick : Otherwise, how are we going to stop him ?

Summer : We will figure out a way somehow. Please don't get yourself into danger. If anything happens to you, we will feel guilty about it.

Derick : Fine. Then, you guys need to find him fast.

Sky : Got it. (To Summer) Let's go.

(Summer and Sky proceed out of the office.)

Derick : Sorry guys but I've got to do this.

Derick look at the door with a face that seems to made up his mind about something ..

Int. Manor (Attic) - Evening

Summer is writing on the notepad, on the book and Sky is making potions on the table. Just then, Kuri and Sirius entered.

Summer : Hey ..

Kuri : Hey .. So, how did it go ?

Summer : Same old same old. Nothing new. We have to find him by tonight.

Sirius : Then, what are you guys doing ?

Summer : I'm writing a spell to summon him and Sky is making some vanquishing potions.

Kuri : You guys got a plan ?

Summer : We plan to summon him and then vanquish him. It's the same plan we use on demons for the past 3 years.

Kuri : Sounds good. Anything I can do ?

Summer : Help Sky to make the potions.

Kuri : Erm, I think I'll passed.

Kuri signal Summer to look over at the table and the screen showed Sky and Sirius in their own little world again.

Summer : Hello !! Can you guys focus ?

Sky : What ?! It's all Sirius' fault.

Sirius (cheeky) : Don't push the blame to me. You started it.

Sky open his mouth and begin tickling Sirius.

Summer : Ok !! You 2 need to spilt up. Kuri, you help Sky to make the potions. Sirius, can you help us call Derick and tell him of our plan ?

Sirius (laughing) : Ok. (To Sky) Stop it.

Sky : Ok.

Sirius take the phone and proceed to the corner to make the call while Kuri help Sky to make the potions.

Summer : Finally ..

Summer resumed to writing on the notepad. Just then, an explosion occurred in the cauldron and Kuri and Sky begin to fill up the vials.

Kuri : Potions done.

Summer : The spell is about to be done soon.

Sirius : Guys, we have a problem.

Sky : What is it ?

Sirius : Derick is not answering the phone ..

Int. Lonely Road

A familiar car is seen driving in the same road where all the murders occurred. The screen moved inside, showing Derick driving the car with a worried face ..

Int. Manor (Attic) - Tuesday Night

The screen lights up in the exterior of the manor. Then it transits into the attic, showing the Ch0s3n 0nes and Sirius sitting on the couch.

Summer : What is he thinking ? Going after the demon himself.

Kuri : Guys, he may not be going after the demon. He maybe busy right now, that's why no one answer the phone.

Sky : No, he did mention about using himself as bait. Maybe we should check on him.

Summer : Sky's right. Let's go.

The Ch0s3n 0nes gathered and orbed out with Sirius.

Int. Lonely Road

Derick is driving along the road while checking the surrounding, trying to look for the demon. He makes a turn and not before long, he spotted a woman waving for his car.

Derick : Gotcha.

Derick stopped the car by the woman and rolled down the window.

Derick : Hi, Miss. Need my help ?

Woman : Yes, actually. Can you give me a ride ? I'm stranded here and I need to go and meet my friend in less than an hour time.

Derick : No problem. Hop on.

Woman : Thank you.

The woman get into the car and as the woman is trying to get in, Derick prepare to take out his gun. When the woman got in, he begin to drive off.

Derick : So, how did you get stranded here ?

Woman : I was driving here when my car broke down. I called for a repairman and they came and towed the car away.

Derick : But why didn't they bring you along as well ?

Woman : They said they are closing soon and is not able to bring me along. So, here I am. Alone and stranded.

Derick : Thank god I'm driving along here. Who knows what might happened to you if you stay there any longer.

Woman : Ya. Once again, thank you.

The car soon drived to the crossroad.

Derick : Erm, which way ?

Woman : Go to the left. It's much faster.

Derick : Ok.

Derick begin to drive to the left and as the car drive deeper, the surrounding become darker, with only the headlights shining a few feet in front.

Derick : So, what's your name ?

Woman : Oh, my name is Keely. And Yours ?

Derick : I'm Derick.

Keely : So Derick, what did you do ?

Derick : I'm a Inspector. Erm .. (sensing something wrong) : Are you sure this is the right place ? 'Cause it's getting darker.

Keely : It is. Pull over.

Derick pulled over and look around.

Derick : Are you sure this is the right place ? 'Cause it's so dark in here.

Keely (man voice) : It is.

Derick turn and saw a distorted-face Keely. He quickly open the car door and fall out.

Tutan : Come back here !!

Derick take out his gun and begin shooting Tutan, to no avail.

Derick : Wow .. guns are really useless on demons.

Derick gets up and begin running deep into the darkness. Tutan give chase and suddenly, he was being sent towards the car. 4 dark figures rush towards the demon and as the headlights shine on them, their identities are revealed.

Summer : Finally we've found you.

Sky (to Derick) : And you too. We'll settle you later.

The Ch0s3n 0nes walk towards the demon, who is getting up. Tutan open his mouth and begin to shoot out thorn-like object towards them. Sky flicked his hands and blast those thorns out.

Summer : Woah !! I didn't know it can do that !!

Kuri : Potions, potions, potions, potions !!

Summer quickly take out the potions and pass the 2 potions to Kuri and Sky. Together, they throw the potions at the demon, who exploded after letting out a cry.

Sirius : That was easy.

Sky : Derick, what the hell are you thinking, coming after the demon alone ?! You could get yourself killed !!

Derick : I'm sorry but I'm trying to lure out the demon. Plus, I'm betting on a 98% that you guys will save me in time.

Summer : What if we don't ? What if we are late by the 2% ? Then, you are going to get yourself killed.

Derick : But in the end, you guys still came, right ? So all well that ends well.

Kuri : No, Jim said that once and look where he ends up. Dead.

Derick : Ok, let's relax over here. I'm sorry that I go solo on this and I promise you I won't do this again.

Sky : Right, like that's going to happened.

Sirius : Ok, let's get out of here. I'm tired.

Kuri : And that's school tomorrow.

Summer : You really love school, do you ?

Kuri (rolled eyes) : Come on ..

The 5 of them proceed back into the car and it drive off, the screen moving up into the night sky, showing a cloudy sky ..

End Of Act 3

Int. Manor (Sky's Room) - Tuesday Night

The screen lights up in an overview night scenery of Singapore. Cars are driving in the highway, the night lights of Esplande are shining beautifully as tourists are taking photo with the building and or or the merlion beside it. It then transits into the exterior outlook of manor. A knock was heard and the screen transits into Sky's room, where he is using the laptop. He turn his head and the screen followed him, showing Summer by the door.

Sky : Hey ..

Summer : Hey, whatcha doing ?

Sky : Using the laptop. Yes ?

Summer : Nothing. Just wanna apologise.

Sky : For what ?

Summer : For being so hard on you and Sirius today.

Sky : You don't have to. We are at fault too.

Summer (sit on Sky's bed) : Still, I shouldn't vent on you. By the way, why are you so glued to Sirius these few weeks ?

Sky : Remember the couple we saved that time ? I've a chat with Pierre and he says that instead of going head-on with the Elders, we should prove to them that us being together will not be a mistake but a happy ending.

Summer : He's got a point. If you keep going against them, then they will sure take Sirius away. It's a method worth trying.

Sky : Sum, I'm sorry for being so glued to Sirius. It's just .. I don't want to lose him .. I can't.

Summer : I understand. None of us can. He has been a great Lightbringer and a great friend. If the Elders insist of taking away Sirius, he must deal with me and Kuri first.

Sky : Thanks.

Summer : Don't worry. You 2 will eventually be together.

Sky : I know. 'Cause he proposed to me.

Summer : What ?!

Int. School (Kuri's Classroom) - Wednesday Morning

The screen transits from Summer's shock face into Kuri's classroom, where Mrs Tan, their A.Math teacher is writing something on the board. Kuri is listening attentively to the board.

Kuri (thinking) : My life is finally back on track now ..

Kuri smiled and continue to focus on the whiteboard. The screen zoomed out slowly as Mrs Tan ask them to do the questions on the board and Kuri begin to scribble on the foolscap paper ..
